The Rectory Journey
At Rectory, we believe candles should be a sensory pleasure, without costing the earth. We began making plant-based, vegan candles in 2025, using coconut and rapeseed wax blended with pure essential oils, inspired by the fresh scents of the Rectory garden.
Every Rectory candle is hand poured in small batches with care, creating quality you can smell and feel.
Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We offer refills where possible, encourage the reuse or recycling of our beautiful vessels and choose eco-conscious materials throughout our production.
Rectory Customer Care
UK Delivery
Every Rectory candle is hand made, so we aim to dispatch orders within 2-3 working days. We’ll let you know if it’s likely to take any longer. We carefully pack each order to ensure it reaches you safely. Standard UK delivery using Royal Mail is £3.65 or free for orders over £40.
Local Delivery & Collection
We offer local delivery across selected areas of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, helping reduce unnecessary postage wherever we can. Collection may also be arranged, please contact us for details.
Refills
We offer a local refill service for selected candles — simply get in touch and we’ll arrange your refill with a discount to say thank you.
Handmade by nature
Our candles are poured by hand and many of our vessels are individually made. Slight variations in colour, texture and finish are part of their character so no two are identical.
